Japanese Temari balls are a Japanese craft from the 7th century and Temari means handball. Originally used as toys but today used as decorations or accessories. Traditionally Temari is given as gifts from parents to children but nowadays used for weddings and ceremonial occasions to bring health and happiness to the recipient.
Every pattern is different. The Temari starts off as a knotted piece of thread and continuously wound round till makes the size needed then the pattern is made.
Each ball takes 2 to 3 days to create
