Description

Japanese Temari ball.   This ball is 7cm in diameter and starts off as a knot of thread .  Each  ball takes two to three days to complete.  Used to be given as gifts by parents to their children as toys with a bell inside  but nowadays are given for weddings and ceremonial occasions

This ball is Green, Peach and Cream in colour with matching beads and orange tassel.

Each ball comes in a box wrapped in tissue and an information leaflet on its history.

You can only be taught to make these in Japan nowhere else.
