Jed Original Watercolour Painting

Hello my name is Hazel, I am a self taught artist and crafter from Oxfordshire.

I paint with a variety of mediums such as acrylic, pastels, watercolour  and wax, better known as Encaustic Art.

This a favourite medium of mine as it involves melting coloured wax using an iron or stylus to create a variety of colourful and unpredictable art.

During the recent lockdown, I was extremely lucky to be given the privilege of being commissioned to draw people’s pet portraits, which was a great challenge and one I thoroughly enjoyed doing.

I feel so lucky that my artwork has been sent abroad to places such as America and Australia as well as all over the UK.

I enjoy a variety Crafts and will have a go at anything, making cards from my doodles, as well as bespoke cards on request.

I paint on canvas, wood and slate, if I can paint it or make it I will give it a go, as I relish a challenge.
